Smeeble.com Sold Guys! (Well It was a month ago but read this new website flip)

Well as I said in the last post, I am up with a new post and that is about my latest flip. Smeeble.com is a search engine which is unique of course.  Alright, so this is the story. I have a friend in MSN who is very good at PHP and other languages.. He develops sites on his own and then flips it for a good profit. He is good at what he does. So he came to me asking whether I wanted a search engine. I was like OMG!! I could be the next Sergey Brin or Larry Page , I immediately took up his offer. There was a small negotiation in the price because he asked for way too much for the site. I paypaled the money to him.

After a few days, my schedule was very tight because of the exams(Yeah I wrote it quite well) Since I am in the IX , I had to study good or my foundation would be history! Not going off-topic, so, back to the story. A month ago I flipped it for $600. I not only wanted some money but also wanted to check out the new sitepoint marketpalce (Flippa). And this one was sold for a BIN in less than 5 hours. Looked like my Flippa career will be awesome coz it was a great start!

So let’s take a look at the site stats:

Age : 50 days

Cost Price : $300

Selling Price: $600

Profit : $300

Traffic: 50 – 100 UV’s per month

Revenue : $10 with built in mini adwords.

It was a great experience. I look forward on hitting the $1000 mark for startup sites(not mini sites). So that’s it for today. Catchya later!
