Just Another $1500 Flip – A Product Flip Of Course!

Posted on 14. May, 2009 by Akky in General

Yep, I just did a product flip which was done easily. I had earlier mentioned in one of my posts about SuperFlippers.com . Yep! I flipped it! The flip was smoothly done. Now let’s get into more detailed!

About

The website SuperFlippers was a website which I did to market a facebook ebook which I had prepared in March. It was an ebook with strong and unique content in it. It explained about making money from facebook apps and then flipping the app for profits. Lots of people bought that ebook. About 74 copies were sold at different prices ranging from $7.95 to $14.95.

Making of the Site

The design was done by James Mcdonald again. I think I need to start concentrating on the sales copy and get a cheaper design from PlusMinisites.com so that the startup costs are much reduced.

Design : $300
Coding : $70
Sales copy : $30 – A BIG discount was given

Yep, $400 just for making the site look awesome. I just wanted to make this a biggy. To add more value, I made an ebook on domain flipping and it was also included within the package.

Marketing

For this little website, I just did Digital Point marketing. I could have tried adwords for this beauty because the keyword “facebook money” receives 12,000+ searches per month. What if 50% of those 12,000 searches visits my website and 1% of those 6000 visitors buy ? That’s 60 sales. Which means about $600 if the the ebook is priced at $10.

Use this tip whenever you are choosing a niche. “Does the main key phrases get more than 10,000 searches and whether the market is in demand!

Ok back to the topic,
At first I gave the facebook ebook for $14.95. I made almost $500 in 5 days. Then after sometime, I wrote an ebook on domain flipping and gave it with the facebook ebook for a cheap price.($8.95).

The Flipping Part

The site was listed in a very detailed manner. It was in a pleasing way and all features were listed in a very nice manner.

I got lots of enquiries on this website. Everyone wanted a copy of the ebook. They had no intention in bidding but they would get the ebook for free. So I made up a rule that only 100% feedback members get the ebook for free.

A guy had lots of questions on this website and he even wanted a video of me logging into the e-junkie account and then showing the download log. He was very happy with that when I showed him the video. He offered me $1500 and he had a list of conditions. That’s why I am always up for conditional bids. The conditions were acceptable for me. He wanted full rights to the ebook, no other website like this should be made, I should help him market this, and so on. I accepted this deal quickly, why ? It is quite hard to cross the $2000 mark for mini sites from my experience. I reduced the BIN to $1500 and he paid me quickly! I was so happy to see the PayPal balance increase dramatically!

Then the rest you know, I transferred the site, Gave him some tips on marketing and he was very pleased with the service I offered.

It was a very nice experience and I would suggest you to get enrolled in product flips immediately if you want quick money!

I am going to write an ebook soon – a complete website flipping package with videos etc. I’ll let you know when it has released!

Please send your suggestions to dollartwist@gmail.com
